“Magical”
The best

A magical place indeed, one of a kind in a spectacular setting. Sort of funky artist retreat with wonderful sculpture and eccentric objects dotted around the property. Unfortunately we only had one night as it was a taster trip for the Alpujarras but the kind of place you could spend a week at and really relax. Water flows everywhere and you fall asleep to the sound of running water. Lots of great touches everywhere. Lina was great and picked us up from the bus stop, let us check in early and leave our bags there so we had a good two days walking. The trails are exceptionally well marked and spectacular. Many days walking here. Without a car some careful planning is needed as it's a 20 minute walk to the restaurants, although the start of the walk is down through the trees by a stream. Highly recommended and will return for a longer stay.

“Beautiful cabin in the hills near Lanjaron.”
The best

The surroundings were so lovely. Our cabin was surrounded by orange, almond and olive trees. The view was beautiful. It was very interesting for us to see how people live in this part of the country. There was additional space on the property that we could use to watch the beautiful sunsets in the mountain. The hostess was very helpful. This was our first visit to Spain, so there were a lot of things we didn’t know. Beautiful spot.

To be improved

Google maps gave us very good directions, so it is not hard finding the property, but the road up is quite step. It is necessary to have a car to reach the place. We enjoy nature and walking, but if someone has mobility issues, the location might be challenging.

The best

Very friendly, helpful owner. Such a unique place to stay. Very quirky. The setting was stunning. A pleasant walk thought the woods, past trickling streams into the town. I loved the generous outdoor space. Really good value for money.

It was a perfect location to stay with my dog. I loved the self contained accomodation and the views were fantastic.

To be improved

There is nothing to dislike it is just an observation that the access to my accomodation would not be suitable for people with mobility problems.
