“Good location for a short stay”

The best

Very clean and modern, in the centre of the village. Good for a short stay and best for a solo traveller since the room is quite tight.

To be improved

There is no chance of preparing breakfast, the equipment is really basic. No room service (change of towels) even when staying for a week. The lighting is terrible, way too strong both inside the flat, bathroom and in the stairs (with a see-through door). I covered the part in glass and only used the bed lamps.

“Very good value and high standard (cleanness and style)”

The best

Clean and good looking, very nice and comfy bathroom, everything looked new and fresh, and quite stylish. Dolce gusto coffee machine with free capsules was a nice bonus. There is a parking lot near the location (don't even try to park on the street, the streets are very very narrow everywhere in the city). We had a rented car so we only stayed in the place at night and spent days trekking in the mountains, but the city is quite charming and quiet, the apartment is in the center, there are some restaurants around. Easy self-check-in. No staff around, but the host was very responsive via whatsapp.

To be improved

The room is small, with a small window. No standard size glass or cup, only little espresso-size paper cups, so to put a glass of water next to the bed I had to search for some single-use cups around the city :(

“Excellent room, but a little way from the port ...”

The best

A lovely room located on the outskirt of the old town of Agaete. The room itself was beautifully fitted-out and exceptionally clean. Great coffee machine. The building door and room were accessed using keypads and PIN numbers supplied by text. The staff were very helpful in arranging a taxi to the airport for my departure.

To be improved

The room is quite a walk (20 min+) from the beaches and restaurants of Puerto de Las Nieves. The opportunities for eating-out in the immediate area are very limited, although there are a couple of popular bars within a 5 min walk.
