Aloxamento A Mariña

It’s in the middle of nowhere, it has a magical view to the ocean, the lady that runs the place is the nicest one you’ll ever meet, and you can also walk down to the stones at the beach in like 5 minutes. Simply like a dream.

We stayed walking the camino portuguese. A lovely little oasis - short walk, spent the afternoon relaxing in the garden! Delicious meal cooked by the host. Comfortable bed, spacious room, good shower!

Location is close to a couple of small towns. The house is set outside any town or village, between the road and the sea. In our room, the bathroom didn’t have a sink - it was placed in the bedroom opposite the bed, which was unusual, but convenient. There are two dogs and a few cats on the property.

Beautiful location along the coast. A little isolated if walking but a fabulous property, nice bedroom well equipped kitchen and wonderful gardens overlooking the ocean.

Very close to the camino route. Lovely views of the ocean. The owner very kindly prepared us some food as we were too tired to go shopping which was 2km away. She was extremely happy to assist. We did leave payment for the supplies. Lovely garden to relax after a long walk. Big bathroom.

Oh my goodness....one of our best stops on the Portuguese Coastal Camino. This guest house is right on the route from Caminha, and you have to be careful not to miss it because it's before you get to Oia! Our room happened to have South African decor (posters), which added to a bit of nostalgia. Carmen is just the best! We asked her about food (since they are a bit out of town), and she made us a delicious, well priced meal, accompanied with a great bottle of wine (also supplied by her). The pets are an added bonus, and the views were spectacular. Highly recommended!
