i could literally hear everything from the room next door, but I was lucky that the people were very silent including myself out of respect. that is why I gave only 9 and not 10

We only stayed one night and we regretted that because it's worth staying in this hotel for a few days. Our bedroom was incredibly beautiful, comfortable, and clean. It's modern and it was easy to carry our big bags to the top floor (where the bedrooms are) because it has a lift that only guests and staff can access. The staff are the nicest!! Guests have access to the first floor as well where they have a kitchen and a living room... but we didn't have the chance to use it so I can't comment on this, but the fact that you can use a kitchen to cook your own food outside your bedroom is a great idea. The hotel is in a little village called Altzo, 30 mins drive from San Sebastián/Donosti. It's close enough but away from all the big city noise and tourists. Altzo is very quiet and beautiful.

To be improved

It's not really a bad thing, but some people may find this info useful: Although it was easy to find with a satnav, we arrived quite late at night and the road is a bit narrow and very dark, so if you're not comfortable with this, you may want to make sure you go there during the day. But we got to see a hedgehog crossing the road, which was lovely.
