Alua Gran Camp de Mar

We had a wonderful week at this lovely hotel. All the staff we had contact with were friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. We had a great room on the 7th floor which was kept clean and beds made up daily. Overall cleanliness of the hotel was excellent. The outdoor pool and the adults only area above were pristine and the hot tubs were fab as the time of year we went the pool was a bit cold! We were half board and found the food to be of excellent choice and quality. The hotel has the most perfect position directly by the beautiful Camp de Mar beach. The outdoor area under the pine trees was nice to relax and read a book on. There is a bus stop a few minutes walk away from the hotel where you can take a trip to neighbouring towns and into Palma city, excellent value and service. We loved our stay here and would most definitely return, thank you 🙂.

The hotel is in a perfect location. It is very close to the beach. The staff are all very welcoming. Christina at reception gave us the perfect rooms for our family especially for our young grandchildren. Two of us in the family are celiac and lactose intolerant. Edgar the head chef is very kind and reliable. He took us round the Buffet every evening to show us what was safe for us to eat. There was plenty of delicious choice and Edgar was very helpful and reliable. He even fried chips for us in a separate deep frier. The pastry chef created a most delicious gluten free and lactose free dessert for us every evening. We felt very safe. The waiting staff were also very friendly. Teresa made it a very enjoyable experience for all of us especially for the grandchildren.

We stayed for 5 nights April 2026. Two adults and 8 year old child. I was a little worried having read some reviews but was so pleasantly surprised. The hotel is in a great location right next to the beach. Very lovely and clean. Good option’s for food in the restaurant. We had rain a couple of days so gave us the opportunity to do some walking. We headed over to Caló d’en Monjo one day and was gorgeous! The indoor pool also came in handy due to the weather and was lovely and warm. We did some snorkelling and this time of year wetsuits were needed if staying in the sea for more than 10 mins. Also to note the outdoor pool is not heated which would, I assume be fine in summer but this time of year meant that children could not really swim/ play in it (for longer than 2 minutes because it was just too cold). Only criticism would be that we were all inclusive and if exchanging your ‘token’ for a coffee you were given a cup to use at the hot drinks vending machine rather than having a fresh coffee made with fresh milk. If paying in cash you were given this luxury (presumably because some were on a different board basis), I felt this was unfair and it also meant standing in queues waiting for people’s hot drinks to be made to just be passed a cup when you finally got to the front! As others have said supermarket on the beach next door which was very reasonably priced. Shout out to the lovely groundsman / gardener who took time out to chat with my son about the fish.

We had an amazing holiday from start to finish. The hotel staff were all incredibly friendly and special thanks to Gerald and Mia, who took such great care of my children at the kids’ club. The entertainment team were absolutely amazing. I’d also like to mention another team member whose name I unfortunately can’t remember—he hosted many of the bingo sessions and was fantastic. My children loved them all and felt completely comfortable around the team. The evening entertainment was definitely a highlight for us—we really enjoyed it. The food was delicious, and our room was beautiful and comfortable. Overall, we had a fantastic time and are already planning to come back!

Great hotel, terrible food. Served raw pork. Food generally is very repetitive and bland. Food hygiene standards need to be improved.

Great staff and location. Food got very samey although apparently there were multiple restaurants (who knew). My extra paid full frontal sea view was more of a tree view with a noisy pool table available all night right below us. The mixers for most cocktails was a post mix dominated by orange squash which was sickly and I'm sure should not be the main constituent if all cocktails. Mojitos were great, bar staff lovely, snacks good. Restaurant struggled with numbers. Some reception staff wonderful others less so. A great quiet resort which would benefit from the odd boat trip.
