This was my third visit, perfect location, clean, adults only

I had booked a junior suite off Booking.com on the understanding that I would have a separate bedroom and a double balcony, as I took my son (26) and his girlfriend (25). We did stay in the room advertised on Booking.com, we had one large room, with a large double bed and a single bed, one balcony, no free standing bath which was advertised. I did mention to the lady on reception to be told, there are a number of different junior suites. Had I known this I wouldn’t have booked that room as it was awkward getting showered etc.

“Quite good but should do better for a Delux room and the extra cost we paid for this.”

The small toilet and shower cubicle with little privacy if you required that,we were on the fifth floor and thier was a bad odour on several occasions from the toilet and sink we had to flush the toilet several times to reduce this not good. The cups and glasses in the room would not fit the coffee machine. We did report this but Notting happened.

“10/10 relaxing couple break for fitness enthusiasts.”

The staff were so helpful and friendly, we loved the indoor pool, steam and sauna facilities. The food was absolutely amazing, we went in with low expectations and the chefs truly blew them out the water. As two powerlifters, we were conscious about the amount of protein and healthy options but we need not be concerned as there was plenty of choice. Jennifer was an amazing manager who answered any queries.

The steam and sauna was broken for 1 of our days.

“Great staff, lovely stay”

The hotel staff, especially in the bar area are outstanding!! A little silly restaurant was full but you couldn’t use the tables outside on the pool side.

To be improved

My mum is disabled and uses a rollator. The disabled accessibility does mean you walk further to get to ramps etc and we were in a room the furthest from reception. Because the hotel is chain owned direct communication about mums needs before we arrived was really difficult. The restaurant is also hard to navigate when you have mobility issues.
