This was one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The staff so welcoming, approachable, helpful and attentive. They were really nice members of staff, couldn’t fault anything. Lots of reviews about the breaksfast and without doubt one of the most pleasant experience all served at the table. The olive oil on the table is one is one of the best - so much that we bought 6 botttles, not everyone sells this. Bought from top of Calle Real on the right on a corner. Rooms cleaned daily. Bed extremely comfortable and I have arthritis of the spine! Booked one night but stayed for 2 we enjoyed this hotel and everything about it. I can highly recommend it and would definitely go back in a heart beat.

“Off the tourist track - but worth it”

The best

Ubeda is a beautiful little town, interesting bars and good restaurants. The renaissance buildings in the old town are superb. The hotel went beyond anything we expected, situated in an old house with a central, indoor courtyard which kept it cool. Our room was really comfortable. The staff couldn't do enough to make the stay memorable. Breakfast was amazing, so many fresh items, beautifully presented

“Great accommodation hidden in a maze of narrow streets”

Large room with very wide comfortable bed. Very central position. Attractive inner courtyard with comfortable seating. Good breakfast in elegant surroundings.

To be improved

If you are arriving by car, and have anything larger than a small two seater don't let anybody tell you about the "public free parking just 30 metres from the hotel." The streets leading to this space are extremely narrow and when you get there finding a free space is by no means guaranteed. We got in and out with less than a centimetre to spare. My advice - pay for parking elsewhere, walk a bit further with your cases and have a relaxed arrival and departure at this lovely hotel.
