The setting is peaceful, and the concept has potential but feels a bit empty. The room was clean and the general idea of blending nature and design is nice

To be improved

Unfortunately, we didn’t enjoy our stay as much as we did at Morvedra, which belongs to the same hotel group. At Amagatay, the staff felt less welcoming and less experienced – the energy seemed a bit forced, like everyone was trying too hard without it feeling natural. There’s no proper area for exercising or stretching – the yoga mats provided were of poor quality, and there wasn’t even a designated space with towels or water for that purpose. Breakfast was okay, but nothing remarkable. The room we stayed in had only two very small windows (about 20 cm), and the lighting setup wasn’t comfortable: no proper reading light, and the bedside light was too strong. The decoration felt overly themed and borderline tacky, and overall, there was a sense of tension among the staff that made the atmosphere less relaxing.
