The pool was closed!! I find it incredible that properties can be listed on booking.com as having a pool when the pool is closed. It is not a minor detail for most guests. I would never have booked this place if it had been clear there was no pool. There are several prominent mentions of the pool in the description, including the statement "A shared outdoor area, consisting of a pool, is also available for your use". Hidden away in the small print at the bottom there is a mention of the pool being closed for renovation. I find this wilfully misleading. This is not unique to this property and is something that booking.com should address and stamp out. As reported by other, there is a very bad smell of sewers in the upstairs bathroom - not a problem for me as I imply used the downstairs shower room, but the property owner really needs to sort this for larger groups. Also, I noticed small cockroaches mentioned by others. On the whole the apartment was immaculately clean and I was not overly concerned, but the host should get pest control in to sort this.

No WiFi signal in the upstairs bedrooms. The bathroom & kitchen drains are very smelly (the staff claims that the drains/pipes are clean but the plumbing is in need of extensive renovations to solve this problem). We used some small laundry perfume tablets (cheap to buy in the supermarket) to combat the smell & it worked really well.

Wifi works only downstairs.
