The best

The apartment is large and bright, on the 4th floor. It's 5 minutes walk to a very beautiful, very stony cove; restaurants and supermarkets are also within easy walking distance. Matteo was a helpful, communicative host, who responded quickly when problems arose.

To be improved

The apartment is in need of an upgrade. Blanket pegged up on a window as a curtain, blank walls, pillows in dire need of replacement, 3 dining chairs and one 2 seater couch in an apartment for 5. Provision of basics such as tea towels, laundry detergent or extra toilet paper would be helpful, though thanks for the wine! Cleaning was minimal, (which our host quickly resolved), kitchen crockery and utensils needed washing before use. Very unfortunately, a plumbing/drainage problem in the building made the (otherwise clean) bathroom almost unusable throughout our stay. This was not the fault of our host, but the odour was overpowering and impossible to contain.
