We experienced a few issues with cleanliness – there was an unpleasant smell coming from the kitchen sink and there were some flies in the main room, although they disappeared after we thoroughly aired out the space. The bed was quite small for two people, and we felt a bit uncomfortable with the fact that the duvet was not covered – it was only placed under a sheet. During the night, we were directly touching the duvet, which was unpleasant considering it is likely not washed after each guest. At night we were also disturbed by other tenants returning home as noise and light from the hallway penetrated into the room when they passed around. Due to the very small size of the bedroom, it is necessary to keep the window open for ventilation, which made it easy for hallway noise and light to enter and wake us up. Due to the uncovered duvet, the small bed and the size of the bedroom we did not sleep very well. We also found it odd that a capsule coffee machine was provided in the kitchen but no capsules were offered. We assume not many people will bring their own capsules for this machine during such a stay and I don’t think it would make much of a financial difference if the capsules were provided during the stay. The coffee machine seems to be there more for decorative reasons.
