“TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.”

This property is bait and switch, beware! I was able to see the writing on the wall as soon as I entered the place. It had a rundown look, the walls were scuffed and dirty, the furniture was cheap and distressed, and the apartment looked nothing like the pictures. I am always careful to choose apartments with lots of ratings and clear photos, but this was a total deceit The building on the inside, including the old elevator (lift) looked extremely old and there was mold on one of the windows. I contacted Booking straight away and the host (AmazINN Places Madrid) and send them a WhatsApp immediately to let them know that my 70-year-old mother and I would not be staying. I provided them with pictures and a video showing them the state of the apartment and told them that the place was not up to par as they had advertised it on Booking. The host told me that the pictures and videos that I had sent only showed paint deterioration that would be expected to happen over the course of time and that they would not be reimbursing any monies to me. I know what normal wear and tear is, and this was not the case. This was caused by misuse, negligence, and intentional actions of the host not to upkeep the property, which they should be entirely responsible for. These people have no shame and they fail to maintain the premises to an acceptable standards. DO NOT book anything from AmazINN Places. They are a fraud! Booking.com should also be held accountable as to what properties it lists as a "deluxe apartment". So disappointed! Booking.com you have really disappointed me and did not even try to offer any resolution for my bad experience.

Overall we found the hygiene to be appalling. The cutleries were stained, and a few glasses/mugs had lipstick stains on them. There was a hair band stuck in the side of the sofa. Turning to the bedroom, both blankets and bedsheet cover had unknown stains and hair on them. We could not use the disgusting blankets and spent our two nights in chills. There were also strands of hair on the toilet floor. The bedrooms had a mouldy smell. The amenities and fixtures were also quite worn out. The door was unlocked and ajar when we arrived, so it was a scare and anyone could have been staying there. Somehow all faucets in the kitchen and toilet are loose. Location wise, it is close to main traffic and right above restaurants, so we could hear people talking and ambulance noises etc, into the late night and early morning. Side note, the Netflix accounts were in Turkish only which we could not navigate.
