Air con downstairs didn’t work. One bedroom didn’t have air con, only a fan that worked only when the light was on so not ideal for sleeping. Staff shouting and being rude to guests at the pool,

“worst accommodation experience ever”

Our 4th time at Playa de Las Americas and this was by far the worst accommodation experience ever. So, we are a family of 6, with 2 adults, 3 teenagers and one child. We stayed all together for 9 nights. On the positive side, there is a nice pool area and a good location. Not for families or those who also want to rest and relax during their holiday. Possibly a good destination for party groups?

The complex is very noisy, music is played loudly in different apartments, and dogs bark on the balcony early in the morning. Also our next door apartment had 2 different party groups, which is why the night's sleep was awful. The mattress on the bed in the large bedroom is unsuitable for sleeping, you can't sleep on it because it is 4cm thick and very hard. It is like sleeping on the floor. The two-bed room smelled of vomit when we arrived. I think someone spewed there before we came? The downstairs smells strongly of mildew and because of that you can't sleep there or even want to go there. The downstairs TV is missing, which is in the pictures. There were also problems with the electronic lock, the door wouldn't be locked properly, and one person always had to stay in the apartment to guard it. Our last night we had to stay at the hotel because we were so tired that we could not sleep at all in this apartment. We decided to save our last night, that’s why we left the apartment earlier.

“Perfect short break with family & friends”

Absolutely loved this property it was in an ideal location, the property was perfect for the 5 of us and had plenty of space.

To be improved

We had a very big problem with the front door locking system. The instructions left to enter & lock the door did not work. This needs to be looked into. We would definitely book again if the door problem is rectified

“Would definitely recommend”

The best

Very spacious and clean property in great location, close to the beach, shops and city centre with everything you need for a family stay.

To be improved

No blind in downstairs room and because of this it is hard to sleep there as the light from outdoor lamp is directly opposite the window. Found a few cockroaches in the property, I can understand that this might be due to open windows and obviously it is Canary Islands so no property’s fault.

“Great place to stay with friends of family if visiting the south of Tenerife”

The best

The location was fantastic, it’s so close to shops, bars and restaurants as well as a 10 minute walk from the beach. The apartment was nice and spacious and it was great having 2 bathrooms as well as washing machine. There was air con in most of the rooms which was perfect for when it got warmer inside. The swimming pool was nice and clean and could be easily reached from the apartment. The apartment was clean and the hosts were responsive with any questions we had.

To be improved

No blinds in the downstairs sofa bed room. Limited parking but public transport links are amazing so not essential.
