To be improved

We were aware that our private bathroom was outside of our room.However we were not aware that 3 or 4 adjoining rooms were also being let out. Therefore running into people in the hallway in the middle of the night and being woken at 2.30am by other guests arriving home. All this in a regular Spanish Apartment for 99 euros per night. We felt like prisoners in our tiny room and stayed out most of the time. It was not welcoming.

“Loved the City, one person made the stay very unpleasant.”

Our hosts were very nice and made us settle in very well, by helping us with our luggage and with our parking. Location was great. Parking on site for 10 Euro/day was reasonable. The bathroom was small but nice.

To be improved

The room we were in was very small and had items in it owned by the family, that made us feel like we were intruding. The father & daughter were very welcoming but the mother made us feel uncomfortable, we wanted to make a coffee in the morning but just did not feel relaxed enough. The mother accused us of cooking, when we didn’t. She did not like us using the fridge when we wanted to keep a small amount of food in it. We felt very uncomfortable, like intruders. As Australians, this is very unnatural and unpleasant. We paid good money, for that money we should be made welcome.

“Exceptional”

The best

Very pretty room in a private spacious apartment lockable by guests. It is nicely equipped and furnished, comfortable beds. Although the private bathroom is in the common corridor and not en-suite, it was Ok for usage -very clean and big enough. Guests can use the kitchen and utensils, the hosts are very kind so we were entirely satisfied. Good location- around 20 min walking distance to the Old town. There is a Renfe stop nearby, 4 min away. The area looks safe.
