The property was very clean and comfortable in a lovely village with two supermarkets and a few restaurants all within very easy walking distance. The kitchen we used upstairs was well equipped with a good range of utensils, crockery and glasses. The outside area provides a shaded area downstairs and two sun beds on the upper level. The location was largely very quiet (apart from very occasional noise from nearby barking dogs) and the local residents were all friendly and helpful. The local beach was unspoilt with sun beds and umbrellas for hire. We walked up to the main road (about a 15-20 minute walk) and caught the local buses which provided an excellent service. These are two separate apartments which would suit friends or families with teenagers though the outside stairs may be unsuitable for young children.

To be improved

Some people might find the lack of oven and kettle a disadvantage though we didn’t have an issue. There is also no information available in the property so when the power suddenly went out we were unable to find the trip switch box without enlisting the help of a neighbour (it was hidden behind a tapestry of the Spanish alphabet!) It was a little disappointing that we could not leave our luggage outside downstairs (away from street view) on the day of our departure so had a long day at the airport. It also took two weeks for the deposit to be returned and it was necessary to ‘chase’ the return of this money.
