“Good for an overnight stay but check the food situation in winter”
The best

Location was key with this, it's close to the motorway as we were in transit, yet it was far enough to feel very remote. The house is located in a tiny hamlet where there is only one other full time resident. The house itself is an old period stone house furnished in an eclectic rustic hippy style with loads of books everywhere. The room was spacious enough, with standard double bed and hot water from the shower. There was an additional single bedroom for putting the suitcase (and the dog slept in the corridor). The breakfast was good enough to set us on our way. We were the only B & B residents at the time.

To be improved

There is nowhere to eat nearby as its so remote and there is no supper provided at the B & B so it was suggested we drive in to Medinacelli, but EVERYTHING (not exaggerating) was closed up in Medinacelli except a slightly odd place with a surly man behind the bar and tapas that had definitely seen better days so bread and cheese it was (maybe that was to be expected on a Tuesday in December?!)
