“Misleading description”
The best

The location was great, and the room was nice with a spacious, modern bathroom.

To be improved

I found that many details in the description were misleading or not accurate. For example, the room was advertised as having a sea view, but that was not the case. I chose this room specifically for the view, only to discover that the main "advantage" was being on the third floor with no elevator. The description also mentioned a fridge with a bottle of water, but upon arrival, not only was a bottle of water not provided, but the fridge was not even turned on. When I plugged it in, it didn’t cool anything, and after a few days, I requested to have it replaced with another fridge, which ultimately didn’t work any better. As a result, we had to throw away all the food we brought, expecting the fridge to be available, and had to drink warm water during the hot summer days. Additionally, it was stated that there was a balcony with outdoor furniture, but this was not true either. We also only discovered upon arrival that check-in was at a different location, which required us to carry our luggage up and down in the castle area since it could not be accessed by car. Overall, it wasn’t a great experience, and I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

The best

Beautiful location, very convenient, great proximity to restaurants and bars and such on Peñíscola's beautiful rock, just next to the castle. Stunning location and a beautiful accommodation. Views from the balcony were excellent.

“The hotel is inside the fort but does not have a view. The rooms are nice and clean. the staff very friendly. · Cons: We could not get the car in and had to walk a long distance uphill to reach the hotel.
