“A pleasant stay in a great location but apartment needs a bit of DIY 🙁”

The best

The location was fantastic. Everything is walkable. We had a car and parked in the garage but did not need to use the car until we left. The pool was lovely and warm and is only a very short walk away. The times we used it, there were only a few people there. There are good restaurants in the area. The entrance to the apartment is private. You stay on the top floor and if you have a lot to carry, there is an elevator. The apartment is quiet for the location. There is a lovely balcony with table and chairs. The kitchen is stocked well with utensils, pots and pans, dishes and glasses. There is an available washing machine, which they gave us 2 washing pods to use and also a dishwasher. There was dish soap and towels to dry dished. Plenty of apartment towels - large and small. There is a safe to use, which is convenient. The hosts were wonderful, informative and responsive.

To be improved

The floor was not clean - there was sand and dirt all over the floors. Our feet (if not wearing any shoes) turned black within minutes of walking around the apartment. There were only 4 of us and they made up only 4 beds out of the 6 beds. The double bedroom was the furthest away and the heat was so unbearable in the night, we had to change rooms (and bedding). They give you an allowance of 105kW / week for the air conditioner. The air conditioner pointing towards the bedrooms was weak. The one pointing towards the living area was nice and cool. If you tried to cool the whole apartment down with the air conditioner, you would definitely go over that allowance. So we closed off the hot double bedroom, we kept the hot bathroom door closed at all times and we closed the door that led to the second bathroom and kitchen. That helped to keep the apartment cooler without using a lot of energy, but when needing to use the kitchen, the kitchen was therefore quite hot. There was no satellite TV (we were told there was no satellite TV so were were not shown how it worked - the host told us this was the last last apartment to have it changed over). The kitchen is a bit outdated compared to their other apartment. The apartment is in need of some DIY maintenance - a lot of the hooks on the back of the doors are missing or fell off, the towel holder in the bathroom fell off when touched, a window shade fell off the wall when the host was there when touched to lift the shades but we were told to leave it on the side and there was no offer to repair it or come back to repair it. One bedroom doesn't have a mirror, which is inconvenient.

“Lovely Apartment in lovely Nerja”

The best

Location was great and superior apartment was lovely, very clean and lots to facilities. Management however were not very nice and actually found them so unprofessional. We had no access to the pool during our stay and I was treated very unprofessional when I got home and received a minimum refund based on this.

No pool. No English TV stations
