Everyone in the lobby was very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant staff were equally welcoming. The food at dinner was enjoyable overall, though the main course we ordered was quite salty.

Overall a great place to stay. Beautiful decor. I personally had a problem with the function of the bathroom with the main room. No separation of light and privacy. Basically you can hear EVERYTHING your partner is doing in the bathroom. This didn't work for me. Otherwise it we had a wonderful stay.

The staff of the hotel is exceptional. They always greet you as you enter or leave the hotel. They always are asking if there is anything else that they can do for you. They go out of their way to meet all your needs.

We didn't really know what we were doing when we picked hotels and boy did we pick right. Incredible location to walk to Gothic District and L'Eixample areas; metro station just steps away. Beautifully designed hotel, and wonderful service. Super comfortable beds and sheets. Very easy to Chromecast our phones and watch shows after a long day of sightseeing. Loved our tiny balcony to watch the street and get fresh air. The historic restaurant was delicious - ate dinner twice, breakfast once, and did cocktails. Just classy and intimate but not stuffy - welcoming service. Plus, we had a travel delay that put us into our room late and wanting to stay another day, and the staff was very kind and accommodating (and very responsive over WhatsApp, which was convenient). I'm sure Barcelona has a million lovely hotels but I'd stay here again if we ever went back. Highly recommend.

My wife and I just completed a 5 night stay at the Antigua Casa Buenavista and truly enjoyed the hospitality of the hotel and its staff. The staff are warm, inviting and friendly. Always smiling and happy to answer any questions for address any concerns or issues. We stayed in the Raval room and loved the decor and layout. Small but cozy and romantic. Toilet and shower facilities were modern and we loved the sliding blackout curtain. We opted for the optional breakfast each morning and were not disappointed. Eggs different ways, avocado toast and a plentiful cold buffet full of pastries, meats, cheeses, fruits and yogurt. Service was impeccable. The fresh coffee was fantastic. Due to the time of year it was too chilly to use the solarium or pool (not heated) but the space looked lovely. Service and amenities were on par with 5 star hotels and its staff rightfully earns its spot on the Michelin Guide. Thank you for a great stay!

Staff was exceedingly nice, rooms were outstandingly clean. Location was perfect for us, but that is subjective as to what you are there for, but everything in Barcelona is easy to get to.
