“Overnight stay was fine”
The best

The breakfast was disappointing, coffee was okay but bizcocha was dry and stale . The walls of the room are very thin with a lot of noise from other guests. Parking is a nightmare with loads of roadworks going on so not able to access the recommended parking , we were very lucky and found a parking spot in a side street. But , for a 2* hotel the standard was very good with aircon , comfortable beds and very clean.

“The local, very central and hidden away. The fact I noticed the hotel is also used by Spanish parties of adult & old people, which for some is reassuring to know. · Cons: 1. Finding out that the beautiful background of the wall in the cafeteria is only a photograph. 2. I had the misfortune of noisy guests in the room upstairs who moved beds & furniture late at night. I complained, but nothing changed on the second night. The reception closes at 00:00 after which one is free to make all the noise in the world. Pity. Also: the bed pillows were rectangular shaped and hard. Not comfortable. I slept w/out. Pity. A note for Avila visitors: you will have to walk to the modern city part of Avila to find a place where to hv a full decent meal on a Monday evening! They are all closed! Avoid arriving on such a day. But apart from this, I found the hotel to be excellent value for money in the month of May. I would recommend.”
