“Amazing Benimaclet”

We chose this apartment for several reasons: the quiet neighborhood of Valencia, accessibility to public transportation, non-touristy lifestyle, and modern apartment amenities. Everything exceeded our expectations. Valencia is a beautiful, attractive city, both historic and modern. Our stay at Apartahotel Espai Verd emphasized this. Thanks also to the "invisible" Fernando, who communicated clearly and promptly. Many thanks for five wonderful days.

“We had an amazing stay in this apartment. We stayed 5 days and loved how comfortable the apartment was. As two single ladies, we felt very comfortable and safe in this neighbourhood. During the day there is a bit of street noise but surprisingly the nights were quiet enough and we slept comfortably. Very close to metro, plenty of cafes, fruit and veg shops and supermarket stores nearby. We didn’t meet the owner or anyone from reception to the building but the instructions from Fernando to enter the building and apartment were very clear and contact was extremely prompt. Thank you Fernando for helping to make our memory of Valencia extra special. The apartment: - Modern, spacious, clean and well organised open plan with sofa, bed and dining table; kitchen, bathroom and conveniently wide corridor. Also gwnerous space to hang up clothes cupboards. - Safe to lock valuables was a little confusing and we weren’t sure how to set a key code, but there was a physical key so we used that to lock valuables. - Perfectly fitted kitchen with all necessary appliances and utensils for cooking; including cutlery, knives, cutting board, pots and pans, peeler, and much appreciated coffee pot (perculator), and dishwasher. The kitchen was very easy to use for cooking meals and easy to keep clean. The glass wall/door partition that encloses the kitchen from the sleeping area is a great addition as it helps keep the smell from cooking to fill the entire apartment. Windows are able to be opened and great for air circulation (during May). - Clean and spacious bathroom with washing machine/dryer which was much appreciated. Tip: bathroom window is frosted for security from street visibility, but thankfully a curtain/blind is installed for extra security. - Comfortable bed and big enough to be shared.”

“Excellent value for money”

The studio we had was very well equipped with a small kitchen which had a microwave, fridge and coffee machine. Coffee capsules, tea and a couple of croissants provided. Hairdryer, iron and individual wifi per studio. Everything was very clean. The manager and caretaker Fernando went out of his way to explain how to access the studio and insisted we contact him in case of any problems. The studio is located in a quiet neighbourhood of Valencia with a couple of nice bars and restaurants. For breakfast there was an excellent bakery just across the street. All in all this was very good value for money in a city where hotels are becoming expensive.

To be improved

The studio is not in the center of Valencia and you need about 20 minutes to get to where the action is. The bed was ok but not great. Fernando is extremely helpful but be aware that the building does not have a manned reception. Yet for the price these are very minor inconveniences and the price-quality ratio of the studio more than compensates them.
