Apartament Ania

Ania was late with the keys on our arrival she arrived to meet us about half an hour later than arranged. NOTHING ! We want to make an official complaint to Booking.com mainly because we think that the photographs are deceiving and certain things on Booking.com advertisement weren't clear. There are two flights of stairs up to the apartment, which we had no idea of. There was no lift! I suffer with back problems and so I was not happy about that. The towels in the bathroom were threadbare, I have thrown newer and better towels away, I use better on my dog. Shower over bath was fine but the bathroom floor is highly polished ceramic, there was a bath mat on the floor but it did not have rubber backing, so when you get out of the bath the mat slips and you could have a terrible accident. The bed linen was very old and thin and worn. We were asked for a deposit in cash of 200 Euros! We had no idea this was payable and it was just lucky that we had cash on us, nowhere in the Booking.com advertisement did it say that there was a cash deposit payable! This is disgraceful. Air conditioning: We were told that we had to empty two buckets outside on the balcony if we used the air conditioning! This is ridiculous and of course not mentioned in the advertisement. ALSO, Ania showed my husband the consumer board (electricity) and told him that we may have to flip switches if the electricity tripped. Again, this is highly unusual and as a holiday tenant we would not want to touch any electrical consumer boards. There was a small kettle in the kitchen, my husband boiled it to make a drink and as he went to grab the handle it was RED hot. He could have had a bad accident, this is so dangerous. We did point this out to Ania when we left. The swimming pool area is dangerous, the water overflows from pool making surface en route to apartment very dangerous indeed as there was a huge puddle of water, this would not be allowed under British Health & Safety law.

There is nothing not to like. It’s wonderful. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

The sun didnt shine on the balcony, but we didnt mind because the roof terrace was great for sun bathing.
