The apartment is situated close to the beach and the restaurants and bars. There is a supermarket about 100m away. It has underground parking which is great, because you can't park in the street. The kitchen is well-equipped, it even has a washing machine, and there are chairs, a table and a clothes horse on the balcony. The bed in my room was comfortable, although my son said that the bed in his room was a little hard.

To be improved

Although the bedrooms have fans, it can be too hot too sleep in the evenings. The sun is on the living room and bedroom windows in the afternoon and evening. To control the heat, you should close the blinds on the bedrooms and draw the curtains in the living room. In the evenings, we made the most of the breeze by keeping the doors to the balcony open. If there were airco units in the bedrooms, they would have made sleeping easier. The apartment is right next to a church with a clock tower. The clock strikes once (15 minutes), twice (30 minutes), three times (45 minutes) and four times (on the hour) followed by the number of strikes for the hour. Then, about 2 minutes later, for some inexplicable reason, it stikes for the hour again. So, at midnight, you get 4 strikes for the completed hour + 12 strikes for midnight +, 2 minutes later, another 12 strikes for midnight. Having said that, it didn't disturb the sleep of my son and me at all because one's body knew what to expect and ignored the sound.

Great location near beach restaurants and walking trails. Parking for car and bikes. Very comfortable bed. Plenty of kitchen utensils cutlery and crockery. Friendly hosts.

To be improved

No air conditioning but we knew that when we booked. So in hind sight it was probably the wrong choice for us. There were fans but it was extremely hot so they didn’t help much. The church right next door rang it’s bells 24/7 on the hour and every quarter of an hour. But we had to sleep with the windows open because of the heat, so couldn’t reduce the noise. We also had a problem with the neighbours dog in the apartment above on our last day but the host quickly resolved that for us.
