Apartamento Ajuy

Location in the town (not overlooking the sea), though still very close to the beach and cuevas

There was never a quiet moment in the apartment because of the constant noise from the fridge, vents, electric fuse box and outside. The bedside lighting consisted of blindingly bright lightbulbs with no light shades. Most importantly though, it made me anxious and frankly I found it insulting when the owners refused to give any access information in a timely manner. I travel solo, so for security reasons, it's important to me to know what to expect in a new location and have peace of mind that I will be able to safely enter accommodation (because unfortunately, I had been stood up by owners in the past). Obviously I don't expect access details weeks in advance, but I think the morning of arrival is completely reasonable (even if it comes with a caveat that early check-in would not be possible). However, being treated like a trespasser who cannot be trusted until the last moment was just rude.
