“Good”

The best

The apartment was exactly as described and in an excellent location, just a few minutes walk from the beach and the very cute little high street in Arrieta. The beds, sofa are comfortable and the apartment has everything you need. There is a moka pot for coffee brewing and a kettle for tea. There was also a coffee pod machine but we didn't use this as there were no pods supplied. There is a good shop at the petrol station 2 mins away, it is open late until 9.30 every day and has lovely fresh bread at all hours.

To be improved

The apartment is quite sparsely equipped. The kitchen is missing several items you might expect including drying rack for washing up (since there is no dish washer), cheese grater, racks in the oven etc. There are just two mugs, one tea towel and only one toilet roll was provided for a five night stay. It is furnished perfectly fine for two people but would be a bit sparse for four, with only two dining chairs and only space for two on the balcony. The shower is quite low pressure and the water runs out quickly, even with just two we had to be conscious of this. If it concerns you note that the lighting is very cold, warmer bulbs would just make for a slightly for cosier vibe. Overall it was still very good value for money and we had a really nice time here, but these are just some things to be aware of.
