Apartamento Arenal 5 - PlusHolidays

Each bed only had one thin blanket which wasn’t enough to keep us warm. We were only supplied with 1 tablet for the dishwasher and 1 tablet for the washing machine and since we were there for a week it definitely wasn’t enough.

This employee, Charline, was extremely rude and was constantly giving us attitude from the begging. We were surprised about the 40 euros per animal charge at arrival as we had exchanged messages saying that we were bringing our two dogs and although Booking says that “charges may apply” I was not informed by PlusHolidays about the prices and the only reply about our message mentioning the dogs was, "thanks for the information". The lack of communication and the rudeness of Charline, created a very uncomfortable situation when we arrived to pick up the keys. Although the place is Pet friendly, there was a guy on the apartment next door who kept bothering my dogs and making noise at the door which made our dogs bark. He then called PlusHolidays and made a complaint about the noise of the dogs and confronted me about it. The dogs were almost never at home. The only time they were alone was at the end of the day, and only for an hour or two when we were at the beach, which is not pet friendly. My dog is 12 y.o. and pretty chill. Apparently, Plus Holidays shares personal information about when you arrive and leave the accommodations. The man had information of the date I arrived and departure date. I confronted the company about it and Charline answered me by saying that that was not a problem since she didn’t think that’s personal information. I disagree! I went to Plus Holiday and spoke to her one more time asking her to deal with the situation with this man. She, again, extremely rude, could not deal with the situation and passed the problem on to her colleague, Tatiana, who was kind, and understanding. She called the man and made sure he would not distress the animal by ringing the door bell and knocking on our door. Tatiana should be the one dealing with people as she showed soft skills like empathy. Unfortunately, due to employees like Charline, I would NOT recommend this place, eventhough it is very well located.

the washing machine didn’t work , the shower was just a trickle ( my partner could not even wash her hair) the master bedroom undersheet was yellow , and the mattresses were uncomfortable. the most important complaint I have is the desperate issues trying to get reimbursement of my €300 deposit!!
