Apartamento Arenal 6 - PlusHolidays

I did not like the fact that when we arrived late at night, we had to pick up the keys at a different location than where the apartments are. This was confusing and difficult after a long flight to find the offices and when we arrived there at around midnight we had to wait for the person to arrive. We were 10 people traveling together for my fathers 70 birthday and because we arrived so late we had to pay a fee of 50 eur each (we rented 3 apartments for two weeks!). In front of the office when we arrived there was another elderly man that had made the mistake of thinking the keys would be at the apartment facilities but he had to walk all the way to this location and he was not happy, very tired from the walking and the confusion. In my mind, the 50 eur fee for late pick up should have been waived since we had to wait a long time for the person handing over the keys, just would have been a good service. Then we had to pay a deposit for all of the apartments and the person assisting us CHARGED our cards instead of taking only a deposit, which meant that many weeks later we had to send them our bank information for them to refund the deposit. I was not happy with that. When we arrived at the apartments I noticed that for example the coffee table in the living room was broken and actually falling apart, it was held together by tape - very cheap to fix by getting a new table before people arrive but gives a bad impression for the guest. The company did replace the table for us, but it was just weird to actually having furniture in the apartment in that state when people are renting. Next thing we saw was when we started to use the washing machine, when it was spinning it would move so fast all over the place that the door on the machine opened while it was on full on spin. I let the facility know about this immediately and they sent a person over that told us we had to close the door better. So this was not resolved and the machine kept opening up throughout our stay.

The information regarding which floor the property was located was not correct. I was informed the property was on the first floor, when in fact it was on the second floor (top floor). This was a slight problem for my mum who had a hip problem.
