“Great location on the edge of Arrecife”

The apartment is right next to Playa del Reducto in Arrecife and the bus exchange is just around the corner, which is really handy for getting to the airport and going on excursions. Aldi is only a 10-minute walk away (very useful if you don't have a car!) The apartment is quiet as long as you keep the windows closed (the road noise can be quite loud if you do open them!) The apartment was generally clean and the roof terrace has incredible views of the sea and surrounding volcanoes. Bedding and towels were provided, as well as shower gel, shampoo and a hairdryer (all very useful if you're packing light!) The owner, Carlos, was very helpful and provided check-in/-out instructions via the Booking.com app.

To be improved

The kitchen is quite minimally equipped - only 2 bowls provided and no baking trays, so it wasn't possible to use the oven. Some of the glasses and pans were dirty so had to be washed before we could use them. There was no extractor fan in the bathroom, and like many places in Arrecife, you cannot flush toilet paper down the toilet in the apartment - not a big problem, but something to bear in mind if you're used to being able to do that!

Ideal location for the beach as it was across the street. Lots of local cafes in the area to give the additional options for food. Major bus station located nearby for transport needs. Well designed living room space and a great feeling of space throughout the apartment. Generous wardrobe space. The roof top terrace is spacious and gives another option if the beach is too windy or additional privacy is required.Sun umbrellas at the property were useful for the beach. The Host was generous with their time.

To be improved

The alarm sensor went off intermittently at one point but the host was on call to deal with the situation and was available until the issues was successfully resolved.

Great apartment everything you need bars and restaurants a short walk away and beach is a few hundred yards away definitely worth a visit
