To be improved

Most of the furniture was flimsy/broken, bathroom door was hard to slide open and shut and the knob falls off, description didn’t disclose it was on the fourth floor with no elevator.

“A lovely modern apartment in a neighbourhood not close to the city but close to a beach”

The best

The apartment was modern, airy and tidy. The pictures in the ad are the exact apartment. There is a beach (La Puntilla) which is 10mins walking distance from the apartment and there is a supermarket (Mercadona) which is a 2min walking distance from the apartment which are both very convenient. Paul (the host) is very welcoming and easy to contact. He was able to answer all our queries promptly.

To be improved

The apartment is in a quiet neighbourhood but far from the city. The apartment is on the top floor (fourth floor) and there is no elevator which was difficult when carrying luggage up and down the stairs. The living room and one bedroom had AC whereas one bedroom didn’t have anything and the smaller bedroom had a fan. Due to the hot weather it was difficult to sleep during the night and was quite uncomfortable. There is only one bathroom so depending on the number of people staying in the apartment it may not be suitable. There is a lot of noise from the neighbours as the apartments are close together so a lot of the time neighbours can be seen and heard when in the kitchen or bathroom area.
