“Perfect place to stay for a quiet night on the Via de la Plata”

The apartment was sparkling clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were very accommodating and switched our booking to a bigger apartment, at the last minute, as we had a friend that needed a place to stay as well.

To be honest, there wasn’t much choice in this very small village where we needed to stay for a night on our Ruta de La Plata cycling trip. The apartment was satisfactory - quiet, comfortable and clean and we appreciated having kitchen facilities as there were few dining options as well. We appreciated our bikes being securely stored in the office.

We had a problem with check-in. We arrived early and messaged through Bookings.com to ask if we could possibly check-in early. There was no response so we killed some time until 2 pm and then went to the office on the corner of the street where the apt is. No one was there. We messaged several times and then finally phoned. We assumed someone would be right there but we had to call again and eventually a very apologetic and nice woman arrived. There was some mixup I think with another person supposed to be looking after checkin. These things happen.
