There is no privacy. The house is split into two and of the 4 windows, (bathroom/kitchen/livingroom and bedroom), only the bedroom cannot be viewed by the other half. They have blinds up their side but not your side. So they can look into whenever they wish. They also know when you leave and enter because there is a chime that goes off when you stand on the doorstep. I heard it late one night when I was hanging out the washing by the front door. You are also not allowed ANY visitors, my boyfriend lives in Lanzarote and came to visit and I had to pay an extra €50 a night for him to have the freedom to come and visit so I made him stay as I had paid for the privilege although he worked nights so was pointless. You then have the issue of waiting for a thorough inspection to get your €120 deposit back.

The remote situation rof the complex really calls for a car rental. Lack of privacy. Found the levels of security intrusive..

The only type of rate that they offer is non-refundable. We had two emergencies and almost had to cancel our trip, the hosts didn't show any empathy, didn't agree to cancel, amend, partially refund or change the dates, so keep this in mind if you're booking with them. We stayed for half of the nights that we booked (and still paid the price in full for 8 days). We were two people but for 2 nights, we were three, we were asked to pay nearly 300€ more for the extra person, as if we were three guests for 8 nights instead of 2. There was also an issue with the number of guests (our booking confirmation said it was for 3 guests and the hosts said that it was for 2); thankfully Booking resolved the issue. The communication with the hosts was difficult and very stressful at a time that was already difficult for us, I felt that there was no understanding or willingness to resolve the issue from the host. Regarding the apartment, the bed was uncomfortable, so it was the sofa. The cushions are quite old and you can feel the wood of the structure of the sofa when you sit on it. If you are planning to use the kitchen, there is nothing basic provided like salt, olive oil, coffee or sugar, this would've been nice to have. If you want to stay there, you need a car as there isn't anything to do that can be reached on foot.
