Apartamento Carlos V

Beautiful apartment in a superb location, opposite the Parador in the historic central square. Cafe next door and tourist information a couple of doors away were both helpful. Ana and Alvaro were delightful hosts and left a helpful booklet with tips for restaurants etc as well as a range of brochures and books. There were good bars and restaurants in the historic centre and good choices in the main town, a short walk away. Lovely walks in the area and good public transport, including the ferry across to Hendaye, taking you France in 7 minutes!

This is an utterly charming yet well appointed property in the heart of the old town. It feels like home from the moment you walk in the doors. The hosts are completely charming and communication with them was perfect at every stage. We would return in a heartbeat!

The owners of the apartment were so kind and generous with information and always there for us, and the location of the apartment was absolutely ridiculously perfect! The best restaurants right nearby, easy transportation to San Sebastian for a day trip for a little more action, we always look forward to coming back to the airy and beautiful apartment!
