Apartamento Carmen Málaga Centro

Great location, immaculate clean, reasonable price.

I had a lovely few days at this apartment. It’s centrally located right on the edge of the old town and within a 5-minute walk from Centro Alameda station from the airport (a 12-minute train ride and come out of the exit at end of platform and you’re on the right side of the road). It’s by the river and you can walk along this all the way up to the botanical gardens, if you like walking. The apartment is bright and airy, has a lovely little terrace that gets late afternoon and evening sun. Both Pepe and Mari Carmen were so helpful, charming and kind. Instructions for arrival were all very clear and I was met by Mari Carmen to orientate me. The apartment had all sorts of little extra items not always supplied (tissues, water, plenty of toilet paper!) It is on the 4th floor but there is a lift. There are plenty of cafes/restaurants around, a well-stock city Carrefour and an artisan bakery for provisions nearby, and the apartment is a short stroll from the bustling Atarazanas market, great to explore and where you can sit outside and have food and a drink direct from some of the vendors. The apartment is well-placed to explore all the key sights and attractions of Malaga.
