“Wonderful apartment”

A great apartment with everything you need for your stay. Every little detail has been thought of. The terrace is lovely and gets both sun and shade all day long. I would definitely stay again.

To be improved

There was no information on where the apartment was on the complex. It took me 20 minutes of searching in the dark. The WhatsApp messages get deleted after 24 hours, which means any instructions disappear before you arrive. The TV in the bedroom isn't connected to any channels. These were only minor issues.

Nice and modern - 10 minute walk to restaurants and bars. The host Alberto was good at communicating and attentive.

We spent two excellent weeks here. Nice restful bed, a terrace, and all the facilities you need. Close to the beach, supermarket and restaurants.

Alberto an exceptional host, could not rate it out of ten. It was an eleven. I work in hotels and got ro say the cleanliness, location, was spot on.

“Total Fiasco & unhelpful Host whom arranged for Contractors to do work without agreement & visit”

Our flights on Sunday the 22nd were cancelled - so we immediately informed the host. the message we got back was: "Remember you leave the property at 11am on the Sunday". No message asking if we had go there OK sorry to hear about your flights being cancelled, he was ONLY concerned about us Leaving on the Sunday - VERY POOR..! PLEASE see messages below as photo attachment We also noticed the bedroom ceiling was very mouldy (very poor) caused by high humidity - but because we had only a few days did not complain. Then on the Saturday (the day before we were due to leave - whilst out and about), we got a message on booking.com from Alberto telling us that he had arranged for contractors to attend to deal with the bedroom ceiling .. WHAT>.??? i told him we were out? he said don't worry they will still attend. PLEASE see messages below as photo attachment TOTALLY unacceptably to have contractors just turn up - without ANY notice for the apartment we had paid for - DISGRACEFUL, plus we had left all our clothes out to pack, and personal belongings! I then contacted him and he said "The apartment is booked all the time so we have to do this work at some point " - .. WHAT.. is this guy taking drugs??? this is our holiday and we have paid for this. if it needs work to be done for the bad mould then book a week and don't take any bookings! don't do the work around visitors. You don't just arrange for contractors to turn up give them a key and go where someones personally possessions are! MY advice since, we go away on average 4 times each year to many places - DO NOT ATTEND THIS PROPERTY. he is only concerned about bookings and money - in theory we should have a refund for this. On another point we have been to Lanzarote many times - this is our 7th visit. Never had this before and also useful info the last 2 xmas visit weather has not been great - due to climate shift possibly
