The location was great, 5 min walking from the Plaza España.
Owner was always reachable and friendly.

“Well-located, fully stocked apt with nice patio”
Walking distance to nearly everything. There was a house manual and a city map. Well stocked kitchen + cleaning supplies (for longer stays), patio nicely decorated, bed was comfy, shower was hot with multiple settings.
There is a primary school two doors down and a bar downstairs open until 2-3am, so there is some noise. BUT with the windows closed, it was very manageable. Never disturbed my sleep.
“Exceptional”
“Super comfy, very well stocked, nice and homey but HORRIBLE party noise from the street & building.”
The apartment had all the amenities you can think of, it was extremely comfortable, and they had a lot of nice gestures, such as hotel-like bathroom amenities. The kitchen was stocked and coffee, tea and biscuits were provided. The bed was very comfy, and there was a lot of room in the closet. The apartment is well located in the center and easy to get to. The host was approachable and helpful.
The location is centric, but that comes with a big issue: noise. The building is clearly either full of tourist apartments or rented to young students, because you could hear music, partying, and people coming up and down the stairs ALL.NIGHT.LONG. That's only from the main bedroom. From the living room, where one of us was sleeping, you have a window right above an Irish pub, and in an alley on the corner of a main and busy street. If you are noise-sensitive or are travelling with kids, like we were, this is a problem. We had to buy earplugs in a nearby pharmacy (which we did as soon as we saw we were right above an Irish pub) and even then it was hard to sleep (having parties in the building in addition to the partying going on in the street did not help). I wish I would've known, because despite the apartment being extremely nice and comfy, this was a big no-no for me.
