Apartamento Cimadevilla

This is an excellent property for a stay in Gijon from a few days to a week for a single or couple. Cimadevilla can be very rowdy at night. However, this apartment is tucked away in a very quiet area. So you get the best of both worlds; all the restaurants and bars are very close but you also sleep well. I have stayed at various apartments in various areas around central Gijon over the last 25 years. I normally stay in the Centro area in the first few streets from the beach. I tried this apartment because I have always wanted to try out staying in Cimadevilla. This apartment is right up there in my list of places to stay in the future.

This apartment is a gem! It is located a five-minute walk from the "cimavilla" park and a number of amazing bars and restaurants. The host Edu was very gracious with his time. He helped my partner and I plan our day by pointing out restaurants and notable features of his city on a map. He also checked in every day to see how our stay was going and even invited us out for a drink. The apartment was spotless, very comfortable, and is seriously a bargain considering the location. We will definitely repeat with Edu.
