“Needed a little maintenance and kitchen needed a clean”

Apartment is in a good location for walking to supermarkets, bars and restaurants, although up a steep hill. Interior was modern and spacious and kitchen had everything we needed. Good sized smart TV and comfortable sofa. Very spacious and private balcony with great open views. It was very clean apart from the kitchen. Nice well maintained pool area but shame there were no sun loungers (in February anyway). We had our own secure underground parking space too.

To be improved

Intermittent bad smells from bathroom drains as well as balcony drain. It was dark in the double bedroom, it needed bedside table lamps or more than just 1 bulb in the ceiling light. When we arrived there were food scraps and hair in the kitchen sink. Had to wash saucepans, plates and oven shelf as it had food still on them. Had to clean kitchen cupboard before putting our own food in too. Balcony had scruffy repaired chairs. No sun loungers on the balcony either. Bedroom ceiling light looked like it was going to fall down. Couldn't lift the bedroom blind. Other small repairs required.

Apartment was very spacious and well equipped, although loungers on the balcony would have been useful. My wife was also disappointed not to find an iron.

To be improved

The unpleasant smells that came from the plugholes and the drainage hole on the balcony particularly during the afternoon were unpleasant Also the mattress in the main bedroom was uncomfortable and was in serious need of replacement.

It was in a quiet location. Very clean & comfortable. The swimming pool was also very clean.

You need a car. There are no restaurants or shops nearby.
