Apartamento Completo Santa Marina

Despite my poor Spanish the host, who communicated by phone was very helpful and allowed me to check-in a little earlier than planned. Keys were collected from a lockbox around the side of the apartment which I found no problem thanks to very clear visual instructions from the host. Upon entering the property I stopped in my tracks and marvelled at the gorgeous courtyard from which my apartment was one of 4 leading off in different directions. Entering the apartment itself I wasn't disappointed. This is such a beautiful authentic Córdoban property with it's wooden shuttered windows and galley style kitchen in which my hostess had very kindly left me a delicious pizza and bread and milk and yoghurts for breakfast. I felt like I was stepping back in time a little but in the best possible way and with all mod cons still provided, all in perfect working order. The kitchen was very well supplied with modern appliances and the living room boasted a very comfortable l-shaped sofa and TV. The two bedrooms were a decent size and very comfortable and the property was very quiet at night. The location is exceptional, just around the corner and down the street from the historic Church of Santa Marina de Aguas Santas and the popular Bar/Bistro Santa Marina, and only 5-6 minute walk to the old historic centre of Cordoba. This was one place I was truly sorry I hadn't booked longer to stay in. Wonderful.

Clean, well-located apartment with the kind host.

The place was very well-equipped, it had everything we needed, some food waiting for us in the fridge, coffee pods and coffee machine etc. Very spacious and clean. The patio was gorgeous, very typical of that region of Spain. Must be a really nice experience in summer. We appreciate that we could check-in earlier. It was easy to contact the owner of the place and retrieve the keys.

Everythng the food in kitchen. If so there was a wine.

Location is very good and at walking distance to Masjid e Cordoba, bus stop is just 3 mins walk, all facilities available inside the apartment and glad to see that there were bread, egg, milk and margarine in the fridge and kitchen had all necessary ingredients available although we couldn't cook anything due to shortage of time, , AC was very good. Smart TV was a good addition. Overall, it's a good place to live.
