“A gem in Peralada”

The best

Clean, light, quiet, close to Spar, lovely view, easy parking, good AC, nice building with lift. Brilliant place & the host very quick to respond to WhatsApp. I would definitely return. A gem for Peralada.

To be improved

Booking.com should advise in the property advert if you are required to make an insecure BACS payment for the accommodation before arrival. I was expecting to pay in advance on a credit card but was not able. I was asked to pay by BACS transfer to an International account by the host the week before our stay via the booking.com host message service. Having never been asked that before from booking.com nor had my friends, I was concerned and ended up spending a lot of time speaking with booking.com to confirm it was ok. The host wasn’t especially receptive to my concern and threatened to make me pay the full amount as cancellation which didn’t help. Any way all worked out well and very pleased we came to stay.

“Comfortable apartment in quiet but convenient location”

It was a lovely quiet location to base ourselves while touring the area with handy shops nearby. The apartment is very secure. It had everything we needed for a short stay.

To be improved

The shower was a little dirty. Having to pick up and drop off the key in another location was a little annoying.

Nice place. It is quiet and comfortable. The host is amazing. She is always available. The place is just as advertised. Lots of space. Well designed interior with multiple sleeping options. I highly recommend this place. Its is less than 10mn drive from Figueres city center.

“A real treat to stay here.”

The best

We loved this spacious, clean, sunny, private third floor apartment. The lift meant easy access and the balcony looking out to the mountains was a real treat. The kitchen had everything you needed. We really appreciated being allowed to store our bikes.

To be improved

It would be good if the cleaner was able to take away the food left behind in the fridge by previous guests.
