“Good location, close to all the sites”

The best

The host was very understanding when we told him we were arriving later than expected and was there to meet us when we did. The apartment is well located, close to the centre of the city and shops nearby.

To be improved

The main bedroom is small with no place for a suitcase.

Nothing really, lovely old building, so some might have problem with noise, but when you stay in such a lovely location, get used to it.

“A part from a few events most things were pleasant. I can repeat it and also advise around.”

The best

Staff was generally good and specially the young guy called Denis was excellent- we were 7 friends and for all of us his approach made our stay in this hotel very pleasant. Location was very close to the centre of Tirana and to several shops and variety of restaurants and still we were able to sleep quietly. The little patio-sitting area in the garden was so pleasant- I hope o the the always keep that area and also the trees in it.

To be improved

The first morning following our first night stay, we had a very unpleasant experience during breakfast. I suppose it was due to lack of English of the morning staff and also that they were not informed about our requested which was accepted and noted by the evening staff so as to transfer. These two reasons resulted with morning staff insulting us and us to go out of hotel without any breakfast.n For that evening there was also a request awaiting since morning, from a couple in our group- to change the mattress which was collapsed. Unfortunately it was not changed before the couple declare their wish to change the hotel which was around mid-night.

“Perfect host, perfect location, perfect apartment”

The best

Fernando was such a wonderful host. When we arrived he was there to greet us - he helped my babies up the stairs while I took the luggage and the stroller. He showed us around the flat, showed us how to use everything and was very welcoming. He was also so helpful when my dad accidentally left the keys inside and shut the door behind him, effectively locking us out! Fernando came to the rescue and opened up the door for us with his spare key. He is a quick responder to whatsapp and is always happy to help! The apartment is in a great location, just over the river and it's quick to walk to the main sites. There is a huge Mercadona supermarket just a 5 min walk. We would definitely stay here again!

To be improved

There isn't a lift which was tricky with having to take the stroller up and down every time we left and came back, but it's only the first floor so it shouldn't be an issue for most travellers! <3

The best

The flat was great! It was very clean and had all the amenities needed to make my stay really comfortable. Location was ideal too, just 10/15 minutes walk from city centre and the area has everything you need with some supermarkets near by.

To be improved

My only issue was the noise. It's a very lively area and there is noise until quite late. However I understand that properties don't tend to have double glazing so there isn't much that can be done. Ear plugs might be a solution 😉
