“Superb”
“Good”
“good quality-price relation”
Close to the beach, supermarket and bar, restaurants. space was clean and enough towels for all of us.
Poor internet, impossible to work with that. single room window facing the 1st floor balcony (other house). there is no balcony in this house and sun in the morning only.
“Once in the apartment we had a great stay. Would use again but would make sure we had check in detail’s upfront”
Great location. Good size apartment, very clean and tidy.
No instructions on how to get key and enter the apartment. When I phoned the calls were not answered and then I received a WhatsApp message with the information. It was late in the evening and it caused a delay and unnecessary stress
“Ok, but needs updating.”
The apartment was really well located, close to a few shops, bars and restaurants, and only a 5-10 minute stroll to the village. The apartment is on the ground floor, but you need to go up some steps to get to the front floor of the building and then down a flight of stairs to get to the apartment door. Facilities were OK.
We arrived late at night, and the pin code we were given to get the apartment key did not work. We spent 20 minutes trying to call the owner before someone answered. Not a good start. There is a light switch in the hallway but you have to be careful not to accidentally ring the next door apartment's doorbell by mistake, as it is right next to the light switch and they look the same! Also, be careful as the light is on a timer, and we didn't make it down the stairs with our luggage before the light went out, and it was then pitch black. The apartment is well presented, but there is a lack of some basic equipment, i.e., bread knife, which was annoying as we bought fresh bread from the lovely local bakery every day. There are also very few utensils, but we didn't cook at all so this didn't impact us. The beds were very firm and not comfortable. The seats on the sofas were very well used and lumpy and need replacing. Also, they were covered in a plastic material, so they were not comfortable to sit on where your skin touched the seat. All in all, nowhere comfy to sit or lie down. Went out to the pool to lie on a lounger for some rest. The bathroom was OK, but every afternoon around 3-4 pm there was a leak from the boiler which poured water onto the floor. The air conditioning is just from 2 ceiling fans, one in the main kitchen/living area and one in the bedroom, which were not enough to keep the apartment cool, especially as it was not possible to leave the bedroom windows open, due to them being situated at the rear of the terrace on the apartment above. We even had a child stick his face through the window one day - not very private! The ceiling in the area where the two single beds are is only about 5ft high so not suitable for older kids. Also, due to the low ceiling, it was stiflingly hot so we had to drag our daughter's bed into the main part of the room so she could sleep comfortably. WiFi kept dropping out.
“Great place but no balcony”
The place was lovely and clean, well equipped, well maintained and good communication. The landlady even let us check in early as the place was ready. The beds were comfortable and there's lots of room to relax. It's two mins from the beach, just across the road from excellent eateries. Great location. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.
It felt like a bunker with no balcony to sit outside for your breakfast or evening drink. While there's a fenced pool area to sit around in the sun, it's not somewhere private for just you though and you're not permitted to take food)drink here. The high windows in the bedroom opens to the flat above's balcony so you can hear them talk in the evenings (not an issue just be aware) but can't see out. The living room's big sliding doors open to the corridor which is public and darker. The benefit is that it keeps the sun off the place so cool in the day. As there are photos of more than one apartment this isn't apparent before booking. I would have liked to know that there wasn't a balcony before booking as I'd have selected one with instead.
