When we got to the apartment, we were told the front door was temperamental, and could jam. This is exactly what it did, immediately, and we were locked inside the apartment for over an hour, with no other way out and the front door jammed. The windows had security metal grills on them and were padlocked shut and nobody had a key for the padlock. (Surely a serious fire hazard, with only one way out which was jammed shut ?) The person we were dealing with (the handover person) did come immediately to help us with the door, when we told him it had jammed, and he did eventually free it, an hour later. We couldn't lock the door properly then, all weekend, we could just close the door, even when it had all of our valuables in. (The people who were managing the apartment couldn't have been more helpful, but we were still paying a lot of money, for an apartment with a faulty door). Other issues....The apartment is NOT 2 bedroomed as described, it had 1 bedroom. There was a flimsy screen/divide in the living room with a bed behind it, but this was simply part of the living room, not a 2nd bedroom as claimed. Lastly, we had told them we had 4 people staying in the apartment but there was only bedding for 3 people.
