Perfect location, close to the beach and numerous eating places.
The overall stay exceeded expectations with many positive aspects.
Overall value was very good considering the quality of the apartment and location.
The property was immaculately clean and the pool area was lovely.
Great amenities including a clean pool and nearby grocery store.
The apartment was well equipped with comfortable beds and good air conditioning.
“Better than expected!”
Very well equipped. Beach towels, beers, coke, water plus countless other things left by other visitors like coffee, sugar, uk adapters etc… there was no tea but we bought some and left the rest for the next guests. Bathroom has shampoo and shower gel but no conditioner so take that. 4 separate single beds, all memory foam pillows, we slept well. Air con is separate units in living area and the 2 bedrooms which was good. TV we could get BBC and sky news channels which my dad appreciated. WiFi was good throughout. Lovely and clean throughout, very good location, we really liked it! Pool was clean but loungers had seen better days… pool deck closed off until 10am so no early morning dash to bag beds. Pool bar and attached restaurant were great and the supermarket just outside had all the essentials and some lovey pastries for breakfast too.
Miserable and unhelpful guy at the reception was a poor start but luckily the staff that took over were a bit better. No parasol on the sun terrace, there obviously was as the weights are there… it would have been appreciated in the height of summer
“Enjoyed every minute”
Everything was nice location perfect close to beach and all amenities
“Exceptional”
“Excellent property it was the little touches - drinks in fridge”
Loved the outside area
The TV was a little tempremental
“Exceptional”
Great location, a lovely supermarket within walking distance. Helpful staff at apartment complex. Just said apartment 719 and received my two keys. The only negative was we didn't like the hard pillows
Nothing !!!. The rooftop terrace was an added bonus . Pool wasn't too crowded. Would definitely recommend and would love to return
“A really great place if you can ignore being not welcome in the building!!”
Very well appointed apartment - with plenty of the necessary equipment such as cups, plates, kitchen equipment etc. 4 cans of coke and 4 cans of san miguel beer left in fridge along with plenty of tea-bags, coffee etc - really very generous. Lovely views of the town and the mountains from each room and the roof terrace. Very good wifi and spanish tv in the sitting room and one of the bedrooms. Probably the best apartment we have stayed in yet. For information, the apartment also has a washing machine, a dishwasher, a good coffee machine, a kettle, a full sized oven and hob. The roof terrace has a table and four chairs, an outdoor shower, 4 sunbeds and a very large parasol. Our booking confirmation notice from Booking.com added that there was a private pool with the apartment - this is not the case!!
As many others have mentioned, check in (at 10.30 pm) was awkward at best and humiliating at worst. We thought we were being clever printing out the owners instructions - however, on showing these instructions to the person behind the desk, he suddenly became very abrupt and refused to even read the instructions because they mentioned the "Arcosur Principe" building which he said was a completely different hotel (it's not). Not wanting to be thrown out on the streets, we persuaded him that it was a private apartment. He reluctantly handed us one access card and warned us not to lose it as they couldn't access a private apartment. The lesson for anyone else staying - don't mention the Arcosur Principe building - it is Pierre et Vacances and branded as such - just tell him/her you have booked a place in private apartment number 719 and you would like to collect your key. The next issue we had was with the building - the swimming pool(s) and the wellness centre were closed - we received no advance notification. When leaving - we wanted to leave our bags in the storage room and this was fine until they discovered we were in apartment 719 which a female member of staff then told us didn't exist. When told it was private, she said, discuss it with the owners, it has nothing to do with them! This reflects very poorly on Pierre et Vacances and I would certainly not stay in any of their properties after this. It is also unfortunate for the owner who otherwise, provides a very good apartment to their clients. To cap it all, before we even reached the airplane, we received a request from the very polite owner for payment of 24 euro to replace two towels that we accidentally dyed in the wash. To be fair, it was our fault but I thought it was a bit petty given that we had left the place spotlessly clean despite paying a EUR 60 cleaning fee and the fact that key facilities were closed .
