Apartamento El Andén de la Estación

We were very disappointed with the condition of the apartment upon arrival. It had clearly not been cleaned. The bed linen was dirty and stained, and there were long black hairs all over the sheets. The floor was also covered with hair, and even the dish soap bottle had hair on it. We also found bugs in the apartment, and more kept appearing every night, which made us feel very uncomfortable and unhygienic. The sofa bed was in terrible condition – completely worn out and impossible to sleep on. The springs were sticking out and made it very uncomfortable, even painful, to lie on. We contacted the host right away. At first, they responded, but no solution was offered. No one was sent to clean the apartment, and after some initial replies, communication stopped entirely. During our whole stay, nothing was done to address the issues, and no compensation was offered. The host mentioned that cleaning is handled by another company, but that doesn’t change the fact that the apartment was not prepared for guests. We booked and paid through them directly, so they are responsible for the condition of the property. This situation caused us a lot of stress and disappointment. Unfortunately, it made our stay very unpleasant. We hope this feedback helps future guests and encourages better quality control.
