“once we got in everything was okay”

On booking.com, it said someone would meet us. We waited for 1 hour, and no one showed up ..I knocked on another apartment door until someone who could speak English called the host, and he shared that the keys were in a lock box. Booking.com was at fault for telling us someone would meet us. No top sheet or extra blankets were available.

“Would recommend this apartment, and spending time in Zaragoza with lots to do even in January.”

The best

Location was excellent, apartment was spotless, some appliances appeared to be brand new and all worked well. There is a supermarket close and other proper shops such as butcher’s, grocers and a panadería. The block is a normal apartment block with normal people living there so not all tourist flats. Host was easy to get hold of and helpful. Parking is on the street and hard to find - there is an underground car park not that far away which has monthly rates. Public transport in Zaragoza is cheap, clean and very frequent - in fact it’s brilliant.

To be improved

Beds were perfectly fine but bed linen needs replacement. There were one or two small items missing from kitchen that you will miss if you like to cook, as we do but these were easily sorted. As we are from the cold north it took us a while to work out how to use the a/c to heat the flat but the internet is your friend for instruction manuals.
