“Nice location with swimming pool but no airconditioning”

Perfectly situated for nearby activity (Caminito del Rey). Beautiful surroundings and the small village of Ardales for a dinner or small grocery at about 1 km. The pool with its sunbeds by the pool and beach umbrella were very nice. The kitchen was nicely fitted (equipment and utensils), though we would have seriously appreciated a hot air oven for prepping a pizza. May we suggest a stand alone one (minor investment, big kudos).

To be improved

Beware: the pool is "shared" with the owners living in the other half of the villa. No problem for us. What was a problem, was the ABSENCE of an airconditioning while mentioned in the description of the accomodation! There was only one big ventilator in the living room which we had to move for the night to the 2nd bedroom (children's bedroom). The master bedroom had a fixed ceiling ventilator which was not efficient at all (hardly moved any air)! Everything else was OK but when a good night's sleep is not possible (it felt like sleeping in an oven), this seriously affects client stay satisfaction. We are sorry to say but this is a basic need in a climate where summer days reach 40 degrees Celsius.

“Excellent stay!”

The best

Very nice, spacious and well maintained apartment , which is a part of a bigger villa where the family lives. On a very nice piece of land surrounded by hills and olive trees. Jesus, his wife and kids were very friendly, receiving our family and our dog Luna with open arms. We will absolutely come back here to discover the area: Caminito del Rey, Cuevas de Ardales, etc... Thank you very much for our excellent stay!

“Exceptional”

Massive place, we were a couple and it was extremely spacious. Washing machine, pool, 2 bedrooms were all perfect. Kitchen was good, no oven but not an issue for us

To be improved

Flies, although host cannot help with it I had a good time killing flies with the swatter, KD = 24-0

“Recommended for an in-and-out night on the road.”

The location was nice - very close to the Caminito del Rey hike where we were going, and close to a little village for very authentic breakfast in the morning.

To be improved

The property is actually an adjacent/attached apartment to the main house where the host lives. We expected to be alone in a whole property without the hosts being present so we were disappointed. Also, the bed was not very comfortable, the shower quite small. Overall an okay property, quite rural. We did not use the pool but it looked alright.
