I want to leave a special thank you to Fernando, the host, who was very friendly and responded to our every request. He even let us check in early to leave our bags so we could enjoy the afternoon in Parque Warner. The apartment was bigger than we were expecting and was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The parking space was very good although not on the same building as the apartment. There are a couple of supermarkets close by. The metro station is almost right out of the door, which is incredible.

To be improved

There were some details that were missing that would have definitely improved the experience. They left the cot for our baby disassembled and we were unable to assemble it ourselves. On the first morning the light coming in from the bathroom window woke us up because we couldn't find the button for the roller blind, which was on the bedroom. On the second morning, a blanket hanging from the clothes line of the upstairs neighbor activated this movement actuated device right next to our bedroom window (on the outside) that made annoying sounds (apparently used to spook birds) and woke us up. The apartment is showing some wear and tear signs here and there. I hope the host improves on these small issues because we would definitely come back again.

The apartment didn’t match the description: there was no AC in the bedrooms, the AC in the living room didn’t work, the bathroom is in the master bedroom without a door in between, the bathroom door doesn’t lock. It was extremely hot for this time of the year so we struggled a lot without AC. I tried to talk to the owner but he had no solutions to offer. When I contacted Booking the owner refused to let us stay the second night which we had booked and paid for. So we had to relocate on top of everything else.
