Apartamento en Roses parking y piscina comu AV-54

We had to take a 40 minute taxi ride to the other side of town just to pick up the keys. No lock box available. We were expected to pay 16€ each for towels and bedding which was not clear when we booked the apartment. We were given the wrong address to the office to pick up the keys as well as to the apartment. So we spent more than an hour and a half just trying to find the place and get in. The apartment was on the 4th floor with no elevator. The pool was 3/4 full and green with algae. The toilet seat was broken, the shower holder was broken, two of the three lights in the kitchen were burned out. The stove looked like it hadn’t had a good cleaning in years and only 1 burner worked. There was only a half a roll of toilet paper for two people for three days. There was no hand soap and the dish soap was useless. The pans and several of the dishes were dirty . When I contacted the manager I was told they were closed and they were sorry for the inconvenience but we were SOL.

The front door was very difficult to lock and unlock. The first evening we arrived we spent 20 minutes trying to open it.The bathroom door was very stiff so every-time you opened or closed it, it was very noisy which was horrible at night. The shower curtain was rubbish, it was cheap, old and torn. The toaster didn’t work. one of the cupboard doors had a piece missing which made it look unkempt. The walls in the bedroom were dirty. The barbecue was filthy and should have been cleaned for us so that we could use it. All these problems could have been fixed really easily, it’s details like this that make a place look rubbish or nice.
