“Great value, great hosts and all you need for a comfortable stay”

Excellent communication from the hosts on, what was, a challenging day following the nation-wide power cut. We were supposed to contact the hosts when we were about 20 minutes away from arriving at the property, but with limited a mobile signal due to the on-going problems, we struggled to place calls. We needed have worried as they had already planned for someone to wait for us at our estimated arrival time. Fortunately, the power was restored soon after we'd been shown around the apartment and we could continue our stay without any further issues. Just as well because the apartment was on the 5th floor and you really need to use the lifts. The apartment was very clean, bright and had all the facilities for self-catering should you wish. We tried Don Giovanni's, the Italian across the road from the apartment where we had a great meal and great service. The balcony is an ideal space to chill after a day's walking and gets full sun for most of the day. An easy, flat, walk from the apartment to the centre of the city, which will take you 10-15 mins. The photographs are a true reflection of what the apartment looks like and the other reviews speak for themselves.

To be improved

Why not 10/10? The air-conditioning unit in the bedroom makes frequent noises during operation and for a period when it's been switched off. This was reported by a previous guest in August last year. It sounds like it's just a noisy condensate pump, but really does interrupt your sleep. As a previous guest suggests, run the unit before you go to bed to cool the room down and then switch it off before you go to bed. Neighbours (& their dogs) in the apartment block can be noisy when it comes to closing doors and barking, but it never affected us to the extreme and wouldn't stop us from visiting again.

“Very nice stay and I would come again.”

The best

The hosts were super nice and helpful. The apartment has everything you need, and more! They have really thought about the little things that travelers need and appreciate. Plenty of local stores, and near a great bike rental place. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to the centre and the best beaches.

“Great stay”

The best

This apartment is equipped with everything, so much so that it feels more like home than a holiday let. The location is also great, right next to the park and only about a 10 min walk to the nearest beach, plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this apartment and would be happy to stay there again.

“Great apartment in an otherwise uneventful town”

Everything was well thought out. Could easily just live there. Nice touches of welcoming cakes and wine. Coffees available etc. Nice terrace that gets sun most of the day.

Main bedroom has two single beds. There is a pull out double bed in the living room. Perhaps a miscommunication but it seemed the expectation was that the single beds were used. We just pushed them together so it was fine, but just something to be mindful of
