Excellent location, walkable into the centre of Cala Dor but far enough to be quieter... we were there in April so not peak season... Great beach 2 mins away at Cala Ferrera too. Comfy, good size, balcony, great service from Antonia and the team pre departure too. Photo is view from the balcony

To be improved

Apartment is up two flights of winding stairs, no issue for us, but keep in mind if mobility is an issue. Also, although WiFi was excellent, it didn't stretch to main bedroom.

The apartment is very modern, very clean, well equipped, with a nice terrace with a superb view. The beaches were close by, with a water to die for.

To be improved

If you have a car and need a parking spot, you will never find one. The owner doesn't have a parking spot in the apartment complex which is very inconvenient. First evening, we parked close to the building on a street that didn't have any sign of "No parking", only a very fainted sign painted on the street, not visible at evening or night time. Within 20 minutes of parking, while unloading our shopping bags, we got a parking ticket of $200 euros, that we still struggle to pay due to their way of setting payment of fines for tourists. At the same location, only in 2 days, 3 more cars got fined and another 2 got the tires sliced. Local police is targetting only the tourists to fine for parking. We noticed that when we see a police car coming in the area at about 11 pm, passed a local car parked at the same spot where we were before, and not fining them. Same local car was in the morning still parked there and no fine. Rented cars have a sign on the board that can be easily spotted by anyone, especially police... Also, the air conditioner in the apartment had a certain schedule that goes after, which is very annoying because the apartment gets hot in the meantime and hard to cool after. Because of that, it is a permanent smell of mold/damp environment. However, if you can oversee these inconveniences and the fact there is no elevator, everything else is excellent.

surrounded by a pine forest, very close to the perfect Esmeralda beach, many cafes and supermarkets, about a 4-minute walk away. Everything you need for a quality vacation by the sea

there was a smell of mold especially in one of the bathrooms
